Surf beach is kinda named like Greenland, some locals decided to fuck with everyone and keep the good spots hidden. Imo the waves at Rincon make up for the extended drive when compared to jalama, but the jalama burger cannot be beaten.Start from KUTA- ONLY beach for complete newbies. As you become comfortable, keep progressing- Seminyak, Canggu etc. Canggu is NOT a starter surf imo as the floor falls rapidly compared to Kuta. I couldn’t imagine starting there.
